Since we are still waiting for progress on the shop (we hope to start moving in at the end of this week) We have more memories of the old shop today.
We tried all different kinds of yarn. We took some pictures of Malabrigo yarn but it sold so fast we didn’t have time to post the picture. So here is the picture that you never saw. This particular order of Malabrigo sold so fast that probably most of you never saw it in the shop. We have had 2 or 3 more orders come in from Malabrigo since then (the orders go in and out so fast I can barely remember) and we will have more when the new shop opens. I really like the Rastita which is DK weight.
We had meet Marsie night and wore the Marsinator out. She had a wonderful time and was quiet for the whole evening after she got home. On our way home she told me exactly what she thought of the car ride and how I was to never put her in car again. Dream on Marsie.
We watched Katie-Belle grow up. Maybe we will have a first birthday celebration for her in June. We can celebrate Marsie’s seventh birthday too since they have birthdays within days of each other. Marsie is June 17 and Katie Belle is June 22.
We knit over 100 hats for homeless veterans in our area. Katie Bell supervised the pile of hats. We want to have more charity knitting projects in the new shop. If you have any suggestions or know of a group that needs knitted items please let us know.
Judy knit green shawls, lots of green shawls. She is moving on to a new color soon. Save Judy from herself and buy a skien of green Koigu or any other green yarn. Carey “helped” Judy knit the London Bridge Shawl.
This ends our second part of the memories of the old shop. If you have a knitting project or picture that you would like posted on the blog or a favorite memory email it to Judy at firstname.lastname@example.org. Otherwise you will see more cat pictures on this blog.
